David and Luis arrived between 9:00 -9:30, just as promised. They both were very friendly and informative. I did not have them install the water heaters I had first ordered based on their evaluation and feedback on what would be best for us. I called Joe yesterday morning to inquire about replacing our water heater that had failed a couple of days before. Didn’t know much about this company beforehand but the experience was top notch. Joe got us scheduled up for the afternoon and David and Luis showed up on time, floor covers in hand, and did a great job with the installation. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.
On 3/16/13, Houston Water Heaters replaced our existing hot water heater with a new unit. The two crew members were on time, communicated well and ensured that our floors were protected before the work began. I would highly recommend this company for future service.
I filled out the information requesting a quote, and, got a phone call within minutes. I received a very good quote and had my new heater installed the next day. Installation went well. Overall I’m very happy with the service I received and would do business with this company again.

I called late this morning to inquire about a new water heater. The gentleman I spoke with was knowledgeable and nice. He arranged to have the new water heater installed today by David and Louis. They could not have been nicer, more professional nor more efficient. Very rare to have installers be so neat and tidy.
The new water heater was a painless transaction (if you don’t consider having to pay for it). The estimate was dead-on though so can’t complain.
I recommend this company to anyone needing a new water heater. Their people and service are superlative.
Upon arriving home on the evening of Feb. 13, I discovered a leaking hot water heater. I contacted Houston Water Heater via their website that evening and by the next afternoon the leaking hot water heater had been replaced. I also had one other hot water heater replaced since it was the same age as the one that failed. The guys who replaced the water heaters were fast, efficient and did not leave a mess. They did a great job!
I was in crisis! My water heater was leaking badly, and could have flooded through from my attic any minute……
I found this out late on night from a general contractor, and it confirmed what 2 other plumbers had told me… I didn’t want to jump at the first opinion, so I searched the Web for reviews on different Hot Water Heaters. I was set on buying a GE or Kenmore (50 Gal Gas Tank) from Home Depot or Sears……. but It was a good thing I checked the reviews! Both GE & Kenmore had terrible reviews concerning the pilot light continually going out and the very poor service from Sears & Home Depot’s Service Contracts!
During my surfing, I came across ‘HoustonWaterHeaters.com.’ I called the phone# on their website late that evening, expecting to leave a message…..but low and behold, Steve (the owner) answered the phone! I described my crisis, and after a few minutes of conversation, he made a recommendation I agreed with, and promised me a new Rheem Water Heater that could be delivered to me the very next morning! I received a call the first thing in the morning from the Installation Team, and they asked what time is best for me….we agreed on a time, and they showed up exactly on time, professional, in uniforms, and very polite (a nice surprise!)……they even wiped their feed at the front door…All I needed to do was open the garage door, and they did the rest! They knew what they were doing, cleared a path to my attic, and did their thing! They didn’t even have any questions – they knew exactly what to do…One hour and a half later, they were all done, and everything went so smoothly! They took me up in the attic to explain everything (at my request, since I am a first time home owner) and I was impressed with the way everything looked – clean and neat – and it was working with no harldy any down time! This was truly and answer to prayer theat night before! I had hot water a few minutes later, and the only difference I noticed was a little air in the pipes, which is normal.
It was a seamless operation, and I highly recommend them to everyone…
A huge plus is that fact that they will back up their work for the same number of years of the Manufacturers Warranty…..what a great option rather than having to deal with the Warranty companies yourself! After reading all those people that chose to ‘do it themselves’ to save a little $ – but they paid a heavy price in frustration and spending hours and hours on the phone with those other companies……which provided very poor service….typical of a large corporatation with an 800# – very impersonal too!
If your time is important, and you want it done fast, and professionally, and RIGHT the first time – call this company!!!

We need to replace our gas water heater as soon as possible. I was shopping around and called two different companies and turn out to be outrageous. I’ve called your company and spoke with Joe and he give me the quote for less for the same model as the other companies quoted me. Not only I save money they installed the water heater the next day and Cantu & Juan did a good job on the installation. I will recommend your company to all my friends.
On Friday evening our electric water heater tank started leaking profusely. I called Steve around 9 AM on Saturday, and we had our new water heater installed before 1:30 PM the same day. Work scheduling was spot on as promised, and the work was very professionally done, including floor sweeping and water pipe insulation. Yesterday morning I was scanning the web looking for a possible source for a replacement water heater. I found houstonwaterheaters.com and just a few hours later I had a new Rheem water heater properly installed at a fair price. They are amazingly quick, do a fine job and were a lot cheaper than one local big-name plumbing company I had talked to. I highly recommend these guys.
I have been talking to steve of houston water heaters from the beginning to resolve my water heater problem. we have a tankless water heater that was purchased about 7 years ago but lately giving us just warm water and there is no real hot water. i came across houston water heaters online and left a message on their website and related my tankless problem and didn’t take long and got a call from steve and left me a message and also got an email too from him. i called him back and checked on prices so i can discuss it to my husband to decide whether will go for it. i got one estimate from another place but its way too expensive and steve gave me a pretty reasonable price on tankless but then my husband decided to go back to conventional water heater since its just the two of us in the house. so called steve yesterday morning to let him know..gave me how much it wll cost me and my husband agreed with it and they came yesterday morning ..and i was very worried how long it will take to get it done and for us to have hot water since we have something going on by 4 pm and definitely need hot water. sure enough by 2 pm we have hot water “yey….” sooo happy because we’ve been having this problem with just warm water for a long time….got it resolved after calling steve. the two guys who installed it were so nice and got it done quickly for us. thanks so much houston water heaters and i got my hot water back!!!
I was shopping for a new water heater, called Houston Water Heater and talked to Steve. He adviced go with the Rheem. After doing a little research, I decided to with them. Called back and Ryan gave me a quote and set up and appointment. Juan and Osvaldo did an outstanding job. They were on time and the installation was quick. Great service, I will use them again.
Steve, Just wanted to let you know that your team of Cantu and Juan did a hell of a job on the installation of my new water heater. It was raining sheets of water here in Cypress but they came on time did a very professional job in spite of the weather. They made sure the front door area was properly covered as well as the area they were working in. They worked promptly and efficiently and cleaned up perfectly after the job was done. They did not cut corners as I inspected their work after they left. They were also very personal and easy to talk to when I had questions. I would welcome both back to do any other work that might require plumbing around my house. You have a couple of keepers there.
