Protect your Tankless water heater during Freezes
The best protection for your Tankless Water Heater during a freeze is to drain it dry. All of our tankless are equipped with shut-off valves under the heater. Close both hot and cold valves to isolate the heater. Directly above the hot and cold valves are hose bibs for flushing the heater. Use these valves to drain the heat exchanger and associated internal piping. Be sure to drain both the hot and cold side then return valves to closed position.
